The room had a comfortable large bed, spacious bathroom with climate control, TV, sitting area, and a great view of the city; fantastic and stunning location near shopping areas.

We had a very nice stay especially during holidays.

Clean hotel, and the staff were very, very nice and outstandingly accommodating, location was STUNNING near cafes with a beautiful view. The property was in the middle of the city. The piano bar was trendy, really enjoyed this place.

Location, and young, fress design

Difficult to find, not any sign. Second flour of business type building. Poor breakfast.

The hotel looks amazing, even though it is just one floor of a building in the very centre of Veliko Turnovo. Alas, we couldn’t get the chance to stay there. Upon our arrival we were informed that the hotel had a power outage the evening before, so the air-conditioning system was not functioning. At the time, it was almost 40 degrees outside. The management reacted very adequately by booking us at their other hotel Studio (close to Tsarevets) and even proposed to transport us there. Initially we booked a triple room, however since Studio didn’t have such rooms available, they gave us two rooms instead. Reception staff at check- in and check-out was really kind and friendly. Breakfast was more than sufficient. All in all, I would recommend both Hotel Play and Hotel Studio to anyone travelling to Veliko Turnovo and the area.

Recently renovated, stylish rooms with balconies, a cozy lounge area, and complimentary Wi-Fi are some of the highlights here.

Very nice designed hotel. Although it says on Booked.net that no meal plan is included they do offer a minimal breakfast in the nicely design mini-lobby.

The staff is extremely friendly, the rooms are immaculately clean and recently updated. the location is fantastic, with easy access to all tourist attractions, charming cafes with stunning views, and the bustling center of Veliko Tarnovo. There are plenty of restaurants and bars in the vicinity, making it convenient for guests.
